On September 15, representatives from the BVMW Representative Office in Shandong, China visited the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province for dedicated exchanges. They held in-depth discussions covering the operation of D-C EWAZ, two-way matchmaking between Chinese and German enterprises, and economic and trade cooperation with Europe, to further smooth cooperation channels between Hainan Free Trade Port and Europe.
The two sides reached a consensus at the meeting. Relying on government-enterprise synergy, they will regularly organize China-Germany industrial matchmaking, resource exchange and project implementation to deliver tangible bilateral economic and trade cooperation. Both parties will continue to improve the regular cooperation mechanism, build a resource pool and project library for Chinese and German enterprises, transforming one-off exchanges into long-term collaboration to make bilateral cooperation more targeted, efficient and pragmatic.
This exchange has laid a solid foundation for in-depth future cooperation. Going forward, D-C EWAZ will perform its basic exhibition service functions, fully support investment promotion work targeting Europe, and earnestly provide supporting services for China-Germany enterprise matchmaking. It will help attract more high-quality German-funded resources to settle in Hainan and contribute auxiliary efforts to the high-level opening-up of Hainan.
