The 4th China International Supply Chain Expo opened in Beijing on June 22. On the afternoon of the same day, the "Shandong Connects the World" Belt and Road Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference, hosted by the CCPIT Shandong, was successfully held in Beijing. Boasting high-level attendance and extensive participation, the event was addressed by Wen Nuan, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), multiple foreign ambassadors to China, and heads of overseas industrial parks. More than 200 government and enterprise representatives from home and abroad gathered at the venue, forming a premium platform for cross-border economic and trade exchanges.

At the event, local governments, overseas economic and trade institutions, and key enterprises delivered successive promotional presentations, followed by a centralized signing ceremony. Provincial and municipal CCPIT branches signed memorandums of understanding with overseas institutions respectively. Hundreds of Chinese and foreign enterprises conducted one-on-one targeted negotiations, yielding multiple cooperation intentions. Meanwhile, Jinan hosted a supporting International Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Cooperation Matching Conference, fully showcasing Jinan’s robust industrial foundation, scientific and innovative resources, and comprehensive transportation advantages. Four local enterprises signed contracts with overseas partners on-site, delivering fruitful results in foreign economic and trade matchmaking.

This year’s Supply Chain Expo features six industrial chain exhibition zones and a newly added artificial intelligence zone, offering diverse and rich platforms for industrial display. During the expo, under the coordination of CCPIT, French business delegates toured the exhibition halls accompanied by Fang Fang, Chief Representative of CCPIT’s Germany Representative Office. They visited exhibition booths of leading enterprises including iFLYTEK, SERES and XIAOPENG, gaining first-hand insight into China’s strengths in digital technology and new energy industries.

This economic and trade exchange event, orchestrated by provincial and municipal CCPIT bodies, fully demonstrates Shandong’s broad opening-up landscape and complete industrial supporting capacity. Leveraging the national-level exhibition platform, Shandong keeps expanding international cooperation channels, builds efficient matchmaking bridges for enterprises at home and abroad, and consistently drives high-quality development of the province’s export-oriented economy. The BVMW Shandong organized French business delegates to attend the exchange and negotiations, actively facilitating resource sharing and cooperation opportunity exploration between Chinese and foreign enterprises.
