Following in-depth cooperation in the OWL region of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the delegation from Mentougou District of Beijing went to Frankfurt to attend the Sino-German Matchmaking Conference on Smart Elderly Care and Digital Innovation. BVMW Representative Office in Shandong, China, provided organizational and coordination support for the event.Nearly 20 Chinese and German institutions, universities and enterprises participated, including Ms. Liu Yin from the BVMW Representative Office in Shandong, China, ZGC Munich Innovation Center, Technical University of Munich, Elf AI, and Apintra International. All parties held in-depth discussions on smart elderly care, digital technology, integration of industry and education, and international industry-university-research cooperation, steadily advancing in-depth and practical cooperation between China and Germany in relevant fields.
In the afternoon, Dr. Detlef Steiner, Co-founder of alpha-test GmbH, and Kristine Soiron, Founder and Managing Director (Geschäftsführerin) of AlphaLing GmbH, delivered special reports successively, focusing on cutting-edge topics including the development of Germany’s digital elderly care industry, digital service system for smart elderly care, and the application of digital technologies in elderly care.Cui Xulong, Executive Deputy District Mayor of the People’s Government of Mentougou District, Beijing, delivered a keynote speech on the regional elderly care industry development plan, digital elderly care construction needs and vision for Sino-German cooperation, introducing Mentougou District’s development layout and cooperation opportunities in the field of smart elderly care.
This conference established an efficient and practical international cooperation platform, promoting targeted connections between Mentougou District and German universities, research institutions and innovative enterprises, and reaching a number of consensus on digital elderly care technology R&D, AI health management, industry-education integration, vocational education collaboration, and the implementation of innovative achievements.
The conference further smoothed the channels for Sino-German scientific and technological cooperation and industrial cooperation, providing strong support for Mentougou District to introduce advanced German technologies, standards and experience, and accelerate the digital and intelligent upgrading of elderly care services.
