To effectively support local enterprises in expanding into overseas markets and accurately identify and resolve the challenges they face during their "global expansion," on September 15, with the introduction and coordination of the Jinan Tianqiao District Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), a delegation from the German Federal Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (BVMW) Shandong Representative Office conducted a special visit and research tour to two high-tech enterprises in Tianqiao District—Shandong YinFeng Nano New Material Co., Ltd. and Shandong JiuXu Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. Ding Tao, President of the Tianqiao District CCPIT, also participated in the research activity.

This research initiative stems from the core mission of the BVMW Shandong Representative Office to connect industrial resources between China and Germany and empower Chinese enterprises in their internationalization efforts. With the precise coordination of the Tianqiao District CCPIT, the Representative Office was able to engage in face-to-face, in-depth exchanges with two technology companies that are leaders in their respective niche sectors.

The Chief Representative of the BVMW Shandong Representative Office expressed during the visit: "We sincerely thank the Tianqiao District CCPIT for their bridging efforts and strong support. The CCPIT has not only served as our 'guide' to better understand the outstanding enterprises in Tianqiao District but also as our 'optimal partner' in efficiently serving the local economy. It is through the professional referrals from the CCPIT that we can quickly identify these enterprises with strength and potential yet facing challenges in global expansion, allowing our international resources to be targeted effectively."

During the visit, the delegation held in-depth discussions with the enterprises, gaining detailed insights into YinFeng Nano New Material’s breakthroughs in technological innovation and Shandong JiuXu Machinery’s advantages in the field of professional equipment manufacturing. In subsequent discussions, representatives from the two companies candidly shared the practical difficulties they encountered when exploring the European market, particularly the German market. These challenges mainly include: a lack of direct channels to reach target customers and insufficient experience in international marketing and brand building.

In response to these issues, the Chief Representative of the BVMW Shandong Representative Office provided preliminary guidance and suggestions based on the characteristics of the German and European markets. She highlighted the support the Representative Office can offer, including consultations on German market access rules, opportunities for precise matchmaking with BVMW’s network of over 900,000 member enterprises, and organizing participation in specialized trade fairs in Germany, among other comprehensive services. The Representative Office emphasized that its goal is to become a "localized" partner for Shandong enterprises expanding into Europe, offering a one-stop solution from market information and legal consulting to landing cooperation.

Ding Tao, President of the Tianqiao District CCPIT, highly appreciated the outcomes of this research visit. He stated, “The mission of the CCPIT is to build bridges for international cooperation for enterprises. BVMW possesses profound political and business resources in Germany. This research activity represents an exploratory practice in our efforts to serve enterprises in their transformation, upgrading, and expansion into international markets.”

This visit was not merely a routine research activity but a "diagnostic" and precise service. It marks a new substantive phase of collaboration between the BVMW Shandong Representative Office and Tianqiao District, laying a solid foundation for tailoring future global expansion solutions and addressing specific challenges for enterprises.
