Recently, a delegation of private entrepreneurs organized by the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce visited Germany for a business inspection tour. The delegation was warmly received by Friedemann Hoefig and Liu Yin, representatives of the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW). This inspection tour aimed to deepen exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises and promote the connection of Sichuan’s private enterprises with the international market.
The delegation consisted of executives from 25 well-known Sichuan enterprises, covering various fields such as intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, and electronic information. It brought together representatives of leading enterprises across different industries, including renowned entrepreneurs such as Li Biao, Chairman of Haite Group; Wang Qi, Chairman of Qiyang (Chengdu) Investment Management Co., Ltd.; and Xiong Zongyou, Chairman of the Board of Yibin Kexin Technology Co., Ltd.
During their stay in Germany, BVMW representatives arranged a rich program of business activities for the delegation, including corporate visits, industry seminars, and one-on-one business talks. The delegation also focused on inspecting Germany’s advanced manufacturing, technological innovation, and other sectors, aiming to learn from international best practices and seek opportunities for industrial cooperation.
As an influential private economic organization, the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce currently has over 200 member enterprises and connects with more than 40,000 enterprises domestically and internationally, including over 40 overseas enterprises.
Person in charge of the chamber stated that this visit to Germany is not only a business inspection tour but also a significant step for Chinese private enterprises onto the international stage. Through exchanges with international counterparts, delegation members will further enhance their global perspective and lay a solid foundation for future international cooperation.
