From May 14 to 16, 2025, Liu Yin, Chief Representative of the Shandong Representative Office of the German Federal Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW), led an international business delegation to Guangrao County, Dongying City, Shandong Province, to participate in the 15th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition. The attendance aimed to further promote resource alignment and technical cooperation in the rubber tire industrial chain between China and Germany, while fostering deeper integration of China’s high-quality production capacity with international market demands.

For this exhibition, BVMW Shandong specially invited executives from leading German and European industry companies to form a procurement delegation, focusing on Chinese tire products and supporting technologies. Core procurement representatives included Simonhorst Reichenecker, General Manager of renowned German tire service provider Tyre System, and Matthias Wahlenmayer, Procurement Director of RSU GmbH. They conducted in-depth visits to high-quality exhibitors at the event, with a particular emphasis on evaluating high-performance tires, intelligent tire monitoring systems, and green manufacturing technologies. Both international guests spoke highly of Chinese tire enterprises’ technological innovation capabilities and large-scale production expertise, reaching preliminary agreements on multiple procurement intentions.

In addition to participating in the exhibition, to further advance the implementation of procurement intentions, BVMW Shandong organized a foreign procurement delegation to conduct on-site inspections and closed-door negotiations with leading local enterprises including Shandong Yongsheng Rubber Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Changfeng Tire Co., Ltd., Shandong Fengyuan Tire Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Shandong Bayi Rubber Co., Ltd. This initiative was carried out with the collaborative support of relevant departments in Shandong Province, the Dongying Municipal Government, and Zaozhuang Municipal Government. The delegation visited production lines to conduct detailed investigations into the companies’ manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and R&D innovation capabilities. Specialized discussions were held on topics such as customized product specifications, cross-border logistics solutions, and low-carbon certification standards.

In addition to procurement needs, BVMW Shandong collaborated with its Italian strategic partners—Fabio Tiburzi, Technical Representative of E-Connect Italia, and Pietro Fiocchi, Business Representative of the Institute for the Cooperation with Foreign Countries—to jointly participate in the event, focusing on digital transformation and sustainable development in the tire industry.
BVMW Shandong has always been committed to fostering connectivity between Chinese and German small and medium-sized enterprises. As the world’s largest tire producer and exporter, China meets the growing demand in the European market for high-quality, low-carbon products. Leveraging BVMW’s global network resources, BVMW Shandong will provide Chinese enterprises with international market access, technical standard alignment, and brand promotion services, while precisely matching European clients with China’s premium supply chains to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
This event marks a key initiative in BVMW Shandong’s 2025 strategy to deepen its presence in the Chinese market. Moving forward, the Group will continue to serve as a hub for Sino-German economic and trade cooperation. By organizing specialized procurement matchmaking sessions, technical exchange programs, and joint R&D initiatives, it aims to enhance the global competitiveness of China’s rubber and tire industry. Simultaneously, it will offer comprehensive support for European enterprises seeking to explore the Chinese market, fostering sustained innovation synergy across Sino-German industrial chains.
