On July 31, under the guidance of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province and hosted by the Dezhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Shandong Enterprise Technological Transformation Promotion Association, the "2026 Tech-Transformation Enabling Dezhou Tour" series of events took place in Dezhou. The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (BVMW) Shandong Representative Office was invited to attend.
Ms. Liu Yin, Chief Representative of the BVMW Shandong, delivered a video address at the event, introducing participating enterprises to the representative office’s own exhibition facility in Germany – the Germany-China Qijing Trade Exhibition and Sales Center (D-C EWAZ). Dezhou boasts a solid industrial foundation, with a group of highly promising enterprises emerging in sectors such as high-end equipment, new energy, and new materials. These companies present strong complementarity with German SMEs in technology, markets, and innovation resources. With the firm support of Dezhou’s municipal government departments, the BVMW Shandong aims to seize this opportunity and, leveraging the Germany-China Qijing Trade Exhibition and Sales Center, help Dezhou enterprises expand beyond Shandong and precisely connect with the resources of German SMEs. At the same time, the office will actively introduce high-quality German companies to invest and set up operations in Dezhou, achieving two-way empowerment and mutual benefit.
Going forward, the BVMW Shandong will continue to deepen its cooperation with government departments, industry associations, and enterprises at all levels in Dezhou, working together to bring more "Made in Dezhou" products to Germany and across Europe, and jointly writing a new chapter in China–Germany industrial cooperation.
